Summary: I paid extra for a room with a river view but I was put on the ground floor with no outlook. I went back to reception and pointed this out. The young lady was far from helpful. Feeling that I was 100% in the right I persisted and got the room changed. She gave me a room on the first floor with a view of the back of the Casarosa hotel sign. Through a tiny gap in some trees I could see the river. I checked and river view rooms were still advertised as available that night.
